WASSELONNE

At the center of the Alsace plain 25 km west of Strasbourg, Wasselonne is a tourist center which enjoys a privileged location at the foothills of the Vosges and 3 km from the north gate of the Wine Route.


Commercial, industrial and artisanal city, it offers you its calm, its magnificent forests, its incomparable sites. With its Circuit of Emblems of Old Trades, its Square Tower, its narrow lanes with stairs, its beautiful forests, its events organized throughout the year, Wasselonne is worth the detour and worth a stay!


The city offers a full range of services (shops, banks, schools, doctors, nurses, daycare, library, etc.), and diversified sports and leisure facilities (sports hall, stadium, indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, fishing pond, fitness trail), as well as various restaurants.

 
 

Transportation

A bicycle track has been built on the old railway line, it links Wasselonne to Romanswiller and Molsheim. Thanks to this cycle network, you can easily get by bike to all Alsatian cities.


The city is an important node of the bus network with six regular lines: to Strasbourg (line 230), Willgottheim (line 231), Wangenbourg-Engenthal (line 232), Cosswiller and Nordheim (line 233), Molsheim (line 234), Marlenheim (lines 230-233-234) and Saverne (line 420).


The Strasbourg - Wasselonne service (line 230) is provided by thirty three daily round trips for an average duration of 30 minutes of travel during school period.
